Shaping equity and inclusion in the startup world.

With Twin Cities Startup Week morphing into a month-long virtual event, and calls to address systemic inequality nationwide, Target Accelerators leveraged their presenting sponsorship of TCSW to demonstrate support for underserved founders. Periscope helped Target Accelerators develop our “See the Future” campaign, centered around the imperative that in order to shape the future, you need to be able to visualize yourself in it. Together we spotlighted several Accelerators alumni to share their entrepreneurial stories.

The Future Shapers podcast and a series of Instagram videos were housed on a dedicated site extension that also provided educational and practical resources for startups of any stage.

Additionally, we created a series of empowering branded T-shirts and Zoom backgrounds for people to show off throughout TCSW.

All of this helped to underscore Target’s company-wide commitment to diversity and inclusion, including the advancement of social and racial equity for Black individuals.
